Meet the Today Disc, Bone & Joint Chiropractic Center Staff
Dr. Matthew Barnhart
Dr. Matthew Barnhart is a Pennsylvania native. He was drawn to chiropractic through his family chiropractor. “When I was doing my undergraduate work I had the opportunity to work as a chiropractic assistant at our family chiropractor’s office and it changed the whole course of my life. I was seeing daily how chiropractic care was helping people get out of extreme pain, and it was at that moment I knew that was what I wanted to do.”
Dr. Matthew Barnhart graduated from Logan University in 2013, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in human biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Since graduating, he has been practicing chiropractic care in Central Kentucky, and treats a variety of cases ranging from pediatric and pregnancy to chronic pain management.
In addition to his degrees, Barnhart has progressive training in the Graston/IASTM/Myofascial Release, extensive post-graduate training in Pediatric and Perinatal care, Webster Certification, MRI Spinal Interpretation, Spinal Trauma Pathology, and is board-certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Dr. Matthew Barnhart moved to Kentucky 8 years ago with his wife, Tara. Dr. Matthew joined Today Disc, Bone & Joint in 2020. When he’s not working, you can find him raising his two sons alongside his wife, staying active outdoors, and spending time in church. “I enjoy treating patients of all ages, and helping them live happy and healthy lives. I think it is important to educate my patient on the benefits that chiropractic care can have on their entire family.”
Dr. Cesar Barada
A South Florida native, Dr. Cesar Barada completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University, earning bachelor’s degrees in psychology and biology with minors in chemistry and statistics. Coming from a family of healthcare professionals, he always knew he wanted to pursue a career within the medical field, but wanted to do something out of the ordinary, deciding on chiropractic care as the best fit.
Following undergrad, Barada attended Palmer College of Chiropractic – Florida Campus, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in December 2019. He is board-eligible for his diploma in chiropractic neurology and certified in electro diagnosis through the Clinical Neurosciences Institute. He is also Level 1 – certified through the Titleist Performance Institute to evaluate and treat golfers, whether they are injured or are just looking to improve their game. His favorite thing about being a chiropractor is the ability to treat a wide range of medical concerns for individuals who have been previously told they have no treatment options.
Dr. Cesar moved to Kentucky in the fall of 2020 when his fiancé, Beth, was ready to be closer to family again. They are currently planning their wedding for 2022. When he’s not working, you can find Dr. Cesar golfing, hunting, fishing, watching sports, playing with his dog, Dallas, and spending time with family.
